Charlotte Peters - Director

Charlotte is currently Resident Director on the National Theatre's UK tour of War Horse and was Resident Director on Stephen Daldry's An Inspector Calls in the West End and on UK tour. As Artistic Director of Brickdust, Charlotte is directing Dan Pick’s The Mouth of a Shark for VAULT Festival and the upcoming national tour of Laura Stevens' By My Strength. Other recent directing includes: Caste (Finborough Theatre), Constellations (Bread and Roses Theatre), By My Strength (The Women and War Festival), shorts at The Arcola, The Park, the Old Red Lion, The Vaults, Camden People's Theatre and Manchester's 53Two, Sunday at the Musicals (Actors Church, Covent Garden), Jog On (Showcase at Soho Theatre/Blackpool Winter Gardens), How to Make Money from Art (Camden Fringe); Fame (Tallink Silja, Scandinavia), Cinderella (Winter Wonderland, Manchester), Snow White (Ellesmere Port), And The Little One Said (The Cock Tavern), Art and What the Butler Saw (Edinburgh Festival Fringe) and Around the World in 80 Days (National Tour).
As an Associate of Original Theatre Company, Charlotte co-leads their literary panel, and was Associate Director on the UK tour of The Private Ear/The Public Eye and national tours of Birdsong (co-produced by Birdsong Productions). Her assistant directing work includes Only the Brave at Wales Millennium Centre ( a co-production with Birdsong Productions, Daniel Sparrow,WMC and Soho Theatre), I'm Not Here Right Now for Soho Theatre and Edinburgh Festival Fringe; and Aladdin and Jack and the Beanstalk at Theatre Royal Windsor, where she was also associate director of The Importance of Being Earnest, The Musical. @charlottepeterz /
