Formed in early 2012 by Anne-Marie Woodley, Jon Woodley & Alastair Whately to present this new UK Touring production of Birdsong.
As a Theatre Administrator, Production Executive and Casting Director, Anne-Marie has a wide range of experience in theatre and television.
Recent casting and production work includes: The Importance of Being Earnest (the musical) UK Tour (2012), Dreamboats & Petticoats (UK Tour & West End), Blood Brothers (UK Tour & West End), Joseph & His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (UK Tour), Agatha Christie’s Spiders Web (UK Tour), A Daughter’s A Daughter (UK Tour & West End), Evita (European & UK Tour), Laughter In The Rain (UK Tour), Whistle Down The Wind (UK Tour), On The Waterfront (West End) and many more. Prior to her production roles, Anne-Marie worked on Hollyoaks and Coronation Street as an Art Director, and originally trained as an actress touring in several UK and international productions
Theatre Consultant, Production Manager & Producer, Jon currently works for one of the leading Theatre Consultancies in the UK, Charcoalblue, in addition to his role on productions.
Jon has worked in the theatre for many years, mainly as a Production Manager working for and helping to develop many well reputed companies and venues including: Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, London; The Abbey Theatre, Dublin; Bill Kenwright Ltd and the Royal Opera House, London. He was also Technical Line Manager for Theatre Royal, Windsor, responsible for development.
Consultancy Work includes: Theatre Royal Newcastle Refurbishment, Bristol Old Vic Redevelopment, Bromsgrove Theatre, Cedars Concert Hall Wells, Winston Theatre - Bristol University, National Skills Academy London, in addition to arts business consultancy services.
He has worked on numerous forms of productions all over the world, including outdoor spectaculars in Dubai, world premieres of new writing in Dublin & London, as well as many UK Tours and West End Transfers, including triple Olivier award winning Hello Dolly at Regent’s Park; Sam Shepherd’s Kicking a Dead Horse (world premiere, Dublin and subsequent transfer to London), and Peter Hall’s The Vortex (West End), Love Never Dies, Hair, and The Lion King (Hamburg).
Jon is very excited to be collaborating with The Original Theatre Company on this project, and even more so to be doing it with his wife!
